Samantha Recliner, Mocha, Mocha

We had to all but demolish the packing to release the recliner. I wish we still had the packing box intact so we could return the product. We cannot get the leg rest to go down, no matter how hard we try. My husband, for whom this recliner was bought, cannot put the leg rest down and both of us together can,t do it either, I have tried to use the product myself, but at 5 ft and 125 lbs, I cannot manage it. Very bad product for us and I advise against purchasing it. We are stuck with something we wish we hadn't purchased. Any suggestions are very welcome.

The recliner arrived ahead of time. It was light and super easy to assemble. The color is just like in the picture. A perfect piece of furniture for my tiny studio. One tip I can give- this chair is rather small so I wouldn’t recommend it to tall people. I’m 5.1 and it’s a perfect size for me.

I don't usually leave bad reviews for things, but this recliner is pretty awful. At least the one they sent me was. The pros: the recliner is a pretty color, and pretty inexpensive and easy to put together. The cons: The one they sent me I believe was manufactured wrong. The whole mechanical assembly underneath is supposed to be more centered, but in mine, is almost all the way to the left. As a result, we had an impossible time trying to get the foot rest down. We shoved, heaved, and had to slam it into place every time. We figured it just needed a little time. One day (this is only after owning the chair for about a month) my very strong daughter just could not get the foot rest down no matter what she did. We tipped the chair upside down, and found the problem. Because of the faulty manufacturing (and the whole mechanical assembly being to the left) the foot rest, whenever we tried to put it down, kept slamming into the wood frame. Obviously, this shouldn't be happening. We tried bending the metal over a bit so it wouldn't hit the side, and that seems to have helped. We feel stuck. Obviously we can't load this thing up and ship it back; it's too big. So we're stuck with this awful, awful chair. The cushioning on the chair is only so so, and the armrests are down so low that it's like not even having an arm rest in the first place. Please don't buy this chair. It's really awful, and we're stuck with it. :(

Full size, but bottom cushion is not supportive . I am 5'10" 160 lbs. this chair fits just right. But the bottom cushions is bottoming out already. Recliner is all the way out. Can sleep in it. My shipping box was beat up. But Fedex rolled it to the door. It goes together well. Back goes into brackets on the bottom. It's heavy as well.

I have owned this chair for 6 months and found out while trying to find a scraping noise that the main support brace across the back has split and is now preventing full extension of the recliner. This is due to either poor design, poor materials or poor workmanship. I could get it repaired locally but at a cost greater than the original price for the chair. Value of this chair = zero.

I've only had the chair for about a week or so, but it works fine and is very comfortable. Great chair for the price.

Mechanics of recliner indicates it to be very sturdy and is best suited for heavier people. My son is close to 300 lb and he loved the chair, has had it about 7 months now and still works great. He has a back injury that requires him to sleep upright for more comfort and has not complaints. Was firmer than expected, but suits his need.

The worst chair I have ever sat in. I almost didn't even take it our of the box. The fabric is awful. There is no padding at all on the foot rest which I was not able to even put down by myself. My husband had to push it down for me and he even has to use way to much force. When I sat in the chair it didn't budge it was like sitting on a cement block. This chair spent all of 30 minuets out of the box before I requested a refund and packed it back up for UPS to come take it away. .....Side note that box was clearly retaped and there was dust on the metal underneath the chair.
