RESTOP Flip-Top Portable Snap-on Toilet Seat (Commode NOT included) - Use with RESTOP Commode or Standard 5-Gallon Bucket

There are only two down sides of this well-made USA product.1) The super small lift tab at the front of the seat really is too small to be practical for lifting the lid.2) The large hanging tab area in the back is too large, unnecessary and impractical for folks like me who keep their camper van toilet in the smallest space possible.Ultimately, I returned it, but wanted very much to keep it because it was made in the USA. Unfortunately, those two design flaws were a no-go for me.

Nice tight snap on lid but DOES NOT HOLD STINK IN!!!Every deodorizer I've tried DOES NOT WORK past 3-4 days...What happened to the blue formaldehyde stink destroyer that was around 20-30 yrs ago? I was in a truck/camper combo for 3 yrs & the blue formaldehyde stuff worked fabulous!!!I would say good for 1 person to use in traveling but no more cuz there is no deodorizer that totally neutralizes stink.

The seat fits on top of 5 gallon bucket. We use an empty paint bucket lined with kitchen garbage bag. It takes some work to snap it on and off. So you do have to be careful. You could just sit it on top too.

Worked great! Fit perfectly on a 5 gallon bucket I got from Home Depot. I put a regular trash bag in it with a little cat liter. I used only as an emergency toilet while camping, but I did use it a few times. Worked well, easy to clean, I suggest emptying ASAP, but it does contain the smell well.

Works as expected.

I didn’t read what it was correctly but over all it serves it purpose will see how long it will last. So far good.

Fits a little tightly on a standard 5 gallon bucket but performs the function as expected.
