OK it's plastic but not thin like the brown ones in the garden, it's thicker and sturdier, perfect for an indoor plant (my Christmas cactus), the size is great and the matching saucer makes it look attractive on the side. You might get one cheaper somewhere else but you'd probably have to look around, i'd rather just order, have it the next day and be done.Re the saucer, I was a bit confused, tried pulling it off, was frightened of breaking it as it didn't budge, tried pushing the 3 little pegs inside the pot, didn't move. Got hubby to pull gently while I pushed the pegs, it popped off easy, you then just turn it a bit so the pegs sit on the bottom of the pot, allowing drainage.would recommend for a nice everyday pot, but not a fancy one, say in the front room :)

Overpriced plastic ....deeply disappointed with this purchase.Will look to replace with a pottery item asap

An attractive planter but slightly disappointed that the tray is not larger than the base of the pot as if you are not careful water might run out of the bottom - you definitely have to remove the tray - water the plant then wait til it drains before replacing the tray

Looks really good, very stylish. I however got my measurements wrong so it was bigger than I needed. Haven't found a plant to put in it yet. But it is pretty.

Very nice. I don't like 'green' but this is a soft , turquoise sea-green with a subtle wave pattern that is just right for lifting-up my spider plant . I am ordering another for another trailing plant.

Certainly not worth £5.89, quite flimsy. Also discription says pot with saucer, but no saucer. Should have gone to Poundland
