12 Volt Portable Winch - Remote Control - Vehicle, ATV, Boat Recovery

I don't use it to pull boats off the water. I use it to pull riding mower, generator, or other heavy stuff up onto a pickup using a cheap crane arm and 6 foot ramps. It works well, even though I max it out every time. It does not have a "reverse", so you got to get used to the tension release and crank it to reverse. No problem, it works and is lightweight.

Works quite well. Wish it had a power out. But if I would have spent more I would have gotten one. It does the job.

I bought this to load my utility trailer. I tried loading a 200 lb piece of equipment on dollies and the motor seized up going up the ramps.I ended up just grabbing a bar out of the garage and pushing it up onto the trailer with the bar for a lever.The box says 2,000 lb. That should have easily loaded a piece of equipment that I was able to load using only manpower.

I tried using this to winch a snowmobile onto a utility trailer. The first snowmobile was winched from the front skis and I found it to be more than this winch could handle. It would pull for a few seconds and shut down. Wait 30 seconds and it would run for another 10 seconds. After several iterations we had the sled where we wanted it. The second sled we pulled on backwards and the winch was able to pull it all the way without stopping. Now, a snowmobile is quite a load to pull with the motor in front. Next time I will use a pulley to increase the winching power. The winch is very easy to handle and it is quick and easy to hook up and to use. For other applications I think this could be a very handy little winch for the money.

Love the winch. Luckily, it was easy to figure out how to operate it because the owners manual was in Spanish and i can't read Spanish.

Winch was delivered on time shipping box look great. Looks like a well built winch. With a brand New battery at hand, Unfortunately, the only thing the brand new winch does after pressing the remote switch is a CLICK sound. The motor is either dead or JAM!. the clicking sound I believe is the power relay enabling. I emailed the company that sold me the winch and were quick to reply, also to amend the problem. A refund was approved and I reordered another winch via Amazon.
