Good enough for GMBN…more than good enough for me!
I figured if these grips are good enough for the GMBN (Global Mountain Bike Network on YouTube!! Great videos if you’ve not seen them before!!) team - they will be far superior to my standard grips on my bike and more than good enough for me!Recommended for large to XL hands (glove size 8.5-10.5) or for extra vibration dampening they weigh in at a fraction above their stated 110grams.No surprise to hear they are really comfortable, and surprisingly adjustable - as they are ‘ergonomically shaped’ to fit your hand shape as opposed to standard round grips, you need to rotate the grip when on the bars to find your optimal positioning - this make take a few rides or two, so it’s probably worth your while taking your mini tool, or a small torque wrench in your bag when you go out to adjust on the fly if you don’t already carry these with you on all rides.Upon travelling down a very rocky mountain decline (roughly a mile long at -7%) at a decent speed (23mph) on a hard tail bike - upon reaching the bottom my arms and wrists were fine - everyone else I was riding with (all going a lot slower) was complaining about wrist aches and pain - I honestly didn’t feel a thing and the main thing is I beat them all down by a good minute!Supposedly the rubber used for these grips are developed in house by Ergon, and it’s so pure - you could eat them and suffer no ill effects - although - I’d image it would be a bit tough to chew down on these and obviously wouldn’t recommend it - I mean where’s the nutritional value…just grab a sandwich or refuel with a coffee and a cake like a normal biker!!As with all things rubber, these will obviously wear out at some point, and I’ll update this review as to how long they last for - if it’s not been updated it means they are still on the bike, still grippy, still comfortable and still in use!So far so good, I’d definitely recommend these to anyone as a pair of comfortable grips - some places think they look a bit weird, I’m not seeing why myself I like the look of them!

Witchcraft
In the summer I ride trails and in the winter on the same Trek I ride roads for fitness and mileage (20-40km a day), and I get really bad wrist pain, so ride with super obvious ergonomic grips. I wanted a change and came across an online review that said about these and forcing you into the correct riding position and will cure wrist pain.It is pure witchcraft how suddenly, without thinking, your elbows are exactly how they are supposed to be!!!During and after my first ride, the all too familiar pain was back. I was heartbroken. I was about to remove them when I remembered the guide printed on the grips. I adjusted them, tilting them forward and when for a ride. All pain... vanished.2 things, these are not the Evo factory as advertised. And even though they are the full sized large, the grips do feel very narrow in circumference. All in all, very happy (and discounted as well).
