DO NOT BUY, AVOID AVOID AVOID
Exploded on second plug in of a 5S lipo. First flight worked great, landed, plugged in a fresh pack and a nice fireball was let out from this regulator and stack. The regulator failed in a shorted position and killed my flight controller plus the DJI air unit that was attached to it.Avoid these regulators at all costs. It's not worth destroying $200 worth of electronic over a $2 regulator. Go with pololu or another reputable BEC manufacturer.

Don’t use on fpv or risk crash and destruction.
Ryan M is right. I read his review and thought it may have been a fluke deal and bought these anyways and now regret it. This burnt up mid flight, worked for several flights then fell out of the sky and looked and it caught fire and burnt up. Switching all my quads to Matek regulators.

Fantastic... but not 0.1" pitch!
C'mon really, they didn't make the pinout the 0.1" (2.54mm) universial standard? Thats just lazy... anyways I cant knock off stars cause it really is a great product, pcb quality and design is great (minus the pin pitch). Im not personally using this for drone applications, but it is certainly small and lightweight.

Cheap and well built Bec.
So far so good, no issues as of yet, was slightly concerned due to other reviews but took a chance since I have felt with this seller a few times and have always been happy no matter what because they will make sure that I get what I paid for, all u would need to do is contact the seller. Anyhow. Only had this installed for 1 day but gone through 4 packs and no smoke or wired issues. Worth a shot from my point of view. I will change my review if I run into issues but for now everything is perfect.

Don't buy!
These won't last long before they smoke and ruin your electronics. I have it powering my receiver and that's it. Nothing else. I run a direct power servo. This went up in smoke and ruined my esc and receiver. Cost me $190 over these cheap becs. Don't buy!!

These are handy!
If soldering TINY parts isn’t your thing, you might want to skip these. But they are nice and versatile. I like that the output can be either 5v or 12v. Pretty much covers most RC lights out there. I like to put them in small project boxes with wire savers and some hot glue to keep them water resistant. Only had one go out, but they are cheap enough to replace.

Great little buck converter
Needed a separate 5v buck converter for my drone to power LED's. I did not want to risk the flight controller regulator burning out for something that is not important to the actual flight. These things are tiny, and when I tested them they were able to put out 3A/5V with no thermal issues which was surprising to me. The wide Vin of these make them incredibly versatile. These are great little buck converters.

Not what I was expecting
I had a tough time soldering pins to the PCA board. The device generates spikes that mess with the performance of my circuit.I might have gotten a bad batch. I replaced this regulator with a different one and my system is working as I was expecting.
