WINSOON6.6FT New Double Bypass Barn Door Hardware Kit Room Wall Mount for Sliding Wood Door (6.6FT / Two Door Set)

When I say these were easy to install , I mean there isn’t anything mind boggling about the set up. But it is very heavy. You have to have someone help you hold and measure. My husband hung 2 three inch doors to pass over each other. They work perfectly. Smooth mechanism , heavy duty. My husband is very mechanical so doesn’t find this sort of thing very difficult as far as knowing how to hang and put things together . It’s not for someone who is slap hazard in method. My husband is very particular on measurements, having the right bolts and tools. Because the doors were so thick and heavy this track had to hold about 400 lbs. so there was a 2 inch slab of solid wood bolted to the wall above the door opening. The roller kit was then bolted to this slab of wood. There is no way Sheetrock would hold this. Even if you find the studs underneath you wouldnt have enough studs because of the way they are placed to hold something this heavy. You would have to reinforce. Now, if you have a simple solid wood core door from Home Depot and you can find the studs just right, it would work. But not just with sheet rock. It would never hold. You also have to make allowances for how straight your wall is and how level your house was built. Otherwise, your door will roll open if your wall is not squared. Any carpenter knows this , tho. These doors took about 2 full days to hang due to having to cut enough off the bottom to clear the floor(they were made by someone who didn’t finish the job), and to allow for such thick doors to pass by each other, plus recruiting the help needed when it was time to lift the doors onto the track. Again, because they were so heavy. My husband hung a regular barndoor set up himself in about half a day with regular doors from Home Depot .

Installed this dual bypass kit on our bedroom closet and everything is strong and sturdy. The instructions are ok at best, this isn't a super hard process so it's manageable. It would be nice if they included jig or guide to make the higher holes for the front rail. I didn't measure them the way the instructions say because my floor was uneven in spots so it made more sense fore me to make the rail level and trim the door, instead of measure from the floor and have an unlevel set or rails. I could have removed the rail and measured for the higher holes with a level but decided to just wing it and it worked out great. I'm very happy with the outcome. All bolts, washers, spacers, brackets, and rails had a great finish and nothing was bent. The picture is before the doors were painted white and handles were installed. My wife loves it, so it's a WIN for me as well.

Great product and works well. Only negative comment: missing one acorn nut that secures bracket to the door. The acorn nut is in a high visibility area. Now I must find an acorn nut that paint finish matches the other 7 nuts.

We truly love how our barn doors with the Winsoon hardware came out. Installation is not easy only because it involves precision, math, physics and understanding of height, width and overlap. Other than that - great quality, good instructions and superb customer service!

This kit was easy to use once you deciphered the directions. Looks great definitely needed a header to help hold the weight of the 2 doors

After ordering several hardware kits for my barn doors this one was my favorite. It made my doors feel secure and helped transform my space.

The directions were a bit difficult because they were referencing multiple sizes options not specific to the size I purchased. But it is smooth and well built. I bought inexpensive doors at Lowes. Love it.

These bars are beautiful, don't get me wrong. However, there is absolutely no reason with how expensive these are they can't come with a template to drill holes, huge seller fail. The directions are ridiculously vague and leave you to literally figure it out on your own. What should have taken maybe an hour took an entire eventing. Everything must be perfectly centered and perfectly level. To get the first bar level was slightly easier, it was trying to get the second bar lined up to be level and thats where the directions became a bigger joke. The beauty of this is worth it, however definitely be prepared for headaches with install. We had to watch a couple youtube videos with other double bipass bars and check the photo of this order a few times. It's a shame it was such a pain. We have 2 other rooms that will have barn doors....and they will for sure be single bars installed instead.

I like the design and worth the prices

Although the quality is good, the photo showing the item in use includes a rail. When it arrived it didn't have one l therefore sent it back. So if you need a rail included with the runners don't order this one. Otherwise its good quality

This hardware was perfect for my project and very sturdy. I would recommend this product.

Excellent solid product. Very happy with it. Slides smoothly. Looks great. Only concern is to pay attention to second hanger height above the first set of hangers (that attach to the wall) when you close the first door, the hardware up in behind the door rubs a bit on the set of second hangers that attach to the wall-but easily fixed by either raising the second hanger just a bit higher and or adding an additional 1-2 washers on the first hanger so it pushes it out just slightly more from the wall (see picture, we used a nut and a washer-its silver). Would definitely buy again. Quick shipping. Easy to follow directions.
