Strong, heavy duty, well worth it.
By far worth every penny and got a second one for my car hauler also to pull from different angles and to pull cars back off the trailer. Its a little heavy, but strong and durable. Have used it dozens of times without a issue. The Grease port is definitely a huge plus to keep from rusting and keep it rolling smoothly. Works great with steel cable and also branded winch line haven't had a problem with it getting pinched or wedged between the roller.

This thing is a beast !
It's hard to believe that they can sell this for so little money. This thing is twice the pulley that you'd think you'd get for the price. It's built incredibly well and sturdy. I love when I get my money's worth and this far surpasses that. Now if I can keep from losing it on a job, I'll be using this probably for the rest of my life.

#SNATCHTASTIC!!!!
Bruh, seriously, these snatch blocks are sturdy af. Like seriously, they are stout, solid, pretty fing heavy, and real swell looking. I was gonna buy a spare at a cheap tool store the other day. I won’t use the stores name but it rhymes with farbor hate. There snatch blocks were on sale for ten less dollars but GD I couldn’t do it cuz these are so much beefier looking and feeling. I personally believe how a snatch block feels is important. Yeah you have to run these through a 3/4 D ring but why wouldn’t you anyways? You look way cooler hooking up a snatch with a D than just hookin. Well, I really think these snatch blocks are top notch. I’ll probably buy more. I got to say SNATCH a lot in this review and that makes me very happy

Worth the cost, if willing to check and modify.
I was disappointed to find that there was so much play in the tolerances and that the cast parts were as rough as they were in some places. With some improvements though, I got it a bit more tightened up, and the surfaces more smoothed out. The pulley itself is machined aluminum, with a polished groove, so no issues there, aside from the steel hub insert in middle of the pulley not having slightly tighter tolerances on the center pin. Speaking of the center pin, that’s all there is; no actual bearing. Just a solid pin with a passage drilled through it, for greasing. The main issues are that the circlips aren’t thick enough for their pin grooves, they were installed backwards (the flat side that’s created when the circlips are stamped should’ve faced outward), and the halves of the main housing had some very rough spots in the castings. One of those spots was a bit of a sharp barb, in the area where the rope will pass though, and another few were on the inner surface, where the shoulder of the pulley is meant to make contact on the side of the housing (and it had already gouged the shoulder of the pulley).I ground down the sharp spots with a dremel, painted the one that would remain exposed, installed a thicker circlip I had lying around on one side, greased the shoulders on the the pulley, and weakened a spring washer I had, to make it so that it wouldn’t push too hard, while also still tightening up the tolerances behind the other circlip. It’s a lot more tightened up and smooth now, and doesn’t have that one barb that could’ve damaged my synthetic rope. Was it worth the money for me? For sure.Could it have possibly been *good enough* if I hadn’t modified it at all? Possibly…There’s a bit of “you get what you pay for” with this product, but I still think it’s worth buying. I just hope the manufacturer attempts to improve upon the manufacturing process a bit, in the future.

I was shocked at the weight and quality of this block
I was expecting some tinny junk made pully block, but this is a serious tool. I have only opened the box it came in and was very impressed with even the quality of the box, and the pully is very heavy and well built, I am hoping. I think it should last a lifetime for my needs.

Great snatch block
This must be the best snatch block on the market at a very reasonable price. I like the one inch attachment hole since it allows for a heavy-duty zinc-plated 7/8" pin on a clevis as well as other attachment hooks and smaller pins but is not so large as to be the weak point of the block. The zirk is a great feature, assuring the the block will not be used hard and put away wet. As others have noted, the frame is heavy cast and the roller is generously wide. The well thought-out engineering of this snatch block is obvious and much appreciated.
