A great inexpensive replacement for the seat of honor. The plastic hardware with the self-holding nuts made it much easier to install than other brands. I especially like the fact that it's very shiny, smooth and slick, even the hardware covers, which makes it super easy to keep spotless. As long as it holds up to cleaning through time, I'll be happy.

Great toilet seat. My husband thinks it looks better than the original we had. This is a replacement to my Mansfield toilet. Fits perfectly. Paint seems to be good - some reviews said there was chipping. Super easy installation - took less than 5 minutes. I think taking it out of the heavy packaging took longer than the actual installation. Have only had it on for 2 days but if things change, I'll update my review. Super fast shipping too!

I NEVER write reviews but had to because of the negative reviews given by some ... cheap, poor design, etc. My seat came in perfect condition with a flawless paint job. The seat is an original Kohler with original style hardware just like the old one I replaced. So, if you have issue with the design you should have had it with the original one on the toilet you are replacing. The seat went on in 2 minutes with the hardware provided and was quite secure. As to breaking in 9 months I will have yto wait and see... but I doubt wood will be that fragile. Just what I wanted at a good price. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again (and may if another toilet in the house needs a seat) ... and you shouldn't either!

A classic, heavy, round toilet-seat. It has a mild bevel around the outside of the lid, which doesn't exactly match my ca.1998 Kohler toilet, but doesn't clash either. The color/finish match perfectly.The seat is made of the classic wood/plastic blend, rather than lightweight all-plastic, like some newer seats. That means it will bang when you set it down hard, but the lid doesn't flex or crack if somebody sits down on it.More importantly, this has the classic mounting hinges, rather than the "quick-release" flexible hinges the plastic-lids have. Those quick-release hinges always wobble, so the nuts work loose, until the seat is only loosely attached. I've experienced this on multiple Kohler seats, two toilets, different models. So I'm avoiding them-- besides, how often do you need to remove your toilet-seat?? Maybe in a public restroom or if you have multiple male children in the house (I'm sorry, if so), and you need to do some serious sanitizing on a regular basis. But I keep a rather clean house, and I've never wanted to remove my toilet seats for any reason other than replacing them (and that's once a decade). So I'll stick to this classic hinge/connector that I don't have to re-tighten monthly.I noticed the same model seat at a local big-box DIY store. It's notably cheaper here and with Prime shipping, it was an easy decision to replace my stained old seat.Recommended.

This is a nice toilet seat, and it's a snap to install. I did have one problem with it though. Within a couple of months, the two screws holding one of the hinges to the seat both backed out at the same time. I happened to have two screws that were slightly larger, and after installing them, I haven't had another problem. Note also that this seat doesn't get that much use (up and down I mean). I'm on the fence about whether or not I would buy it again (probably not). Did I get what I payed for? Perhaps....

Believe me when I say that this is the easiest toilet seat to install! I have never changed a toilet seat before in my life. I watched 1 min of a toilet install video and then my kid ran away with my phone. So I figured it out as I went I didn’t even have to look at the manual it was that easy! My previous was the same installation method so taking the old one out and installing the new one was super duper easy! Not sure about the durability but it seems like good quality material for the price! I would recommend it to others!
