Product description Lego Star Wars R2-D2 and C3PO Collectors Set 65081 .com Despite their humble origins as ordinary astromech and protocol droids, R2-D2 and C-3PO have demonstrated an uncanny knack for getting involved in the affairs of the high and mighty. Consisting of 581 separate parts, including flexible rods and a variety of connector pieces, this droid collector set makes it possible for young Star Wars fans to build their own versions of the two intergalactic explorers. Illustrated, step-by-step instructions for assembly are included, along with a full-color Star Wars 25th anniversary commemorative poster. Younger children may find it difficult to put together all of the set's components and may require the assistance of a parent or older sibling. Please also note that some of the set's smaller pieces may pose a choking hazard to babies or toddlers and should be kept out of their reach. --Chris Burns

Cool but somewhat fragile
I bought this for my son off of the Gold Box special with free shipping. As such, it is a bargain. Not sure I would have paid full pop and shipping. He did well putting it together as an accomplished six year old lego builder but you will need to help younger kids with it.Well designed and built as all Technic legos are, but in assembled form, the pieces can be fragile. He likes to play with the assembled legos afterward like most kids and these aren't all that great for this. R2D2 does not roll nicely and C3PO can barely stand. At times they will require repairs and for goodness sake don't accidentally step on em. We did just buy the Stormtrooper so that he can "blast" C3PO apart. All in all a good addition to your Star Wars collection but be aware it is not a greatly playable toy after building.

Not the droids ur lookin 4
This is the weirdest looking R2-D2/C3P0 Lego thing ever. I sold it after getting it as a gift, now it's SO expen$ive, and you're getting an easily put together garbage representation.
