Bad reviews?! WHY!?
I can't believe there are bad reviews for this product! I don't normally write reviews but I need to set the story straight. I'm a huge baker but I do not mess with Gluten Free Dough. These crusts literally are amazing and to be Gluten Free?! The people who ate my pies literally have no idea they're gluten free. I made pecan pie, pumpkin pie and chicken pot pie and all of them came out amazing. I don't even LIKE crust but I found myself eating the crust just all on its own. The sections above the pie filling do kind of break apart when you cut it, but seriously, beggars can't be choosers. I feel like the people leaving bad reviews have never tried to buy or make other gluten free crusts, that's the only explanation I can think of😅 But for those of us well versed in the world of gluten free, these are well worth the price of sanity around the holidays!

Is this gluten free?
Yes, they are gluten free but oh my goodness - these crusts were delicious! There is nothing wrong with them except (always the exception, yeah?) they have butter but there is certainly nothing wrong with butter in moderation and we failed in the moderation department. Yes, there was a little bit of "stick it back together" but nothing that would turn me away from these crusts. The pies (1 strawberry and 1 peach) came out so perfect we (spouse and I) ate a lot in just a couple of days!

Hooray!
I used these to make quiche for the first time since going gluten free. I was so glad I tried them. They are delicious and did great. Slightly more crumbly than regular ones, but held together very well and taste great.

Taste is good
The taste of the pie crust is good, but they break SO easily!

Great Gluten free crust
I so wish that there was a top crust available using these same ingredients. This is an excellent crust that I used for a quiche and a berry crumble top pie. I did par bake both crusts to ensure that they did not get soggy. Please consider making it available as a premade dough.

Best GF piecrust there is.
I’ve tried them all including from scratch and this one is the best. Very frustrating that Whole Foods only carries them during the holidays though. Please keep them year round!

Bland, overly fatty, glue-y texture
I do not recommend this pie shell as it tastes quite bland, is really quite overly fatty and has an odd, glue-y texture. Better to make your own gluten free crust.

Just okay
Just okay. Fell apart and broke prior to using. Had to bake for 10 min alone and piece back together. Wholly is preferable.
