Waste of Time and Money
There is a reason this is so cheap compared to other VR options and that's because this just doesn't do anything the other options do, plus it doesn't even do what it's own description says it does. In fact, the "manual" that came with it describes some other peripheral because you can't adjust the straps, there are no outside buttons to control your phone volume, it also mentions 2 different ways to adjust the viewing angle/distance and there's only 1 and that doesn't work for me at all.Maybe this could work for a small child but it will probably damage their eyes and/or give them headaches and migraines because the lenses are terrible and trying to adjust them will definitely strain your eyes and brain and there's no way to lock in the position of the lenses so you'll always be straining your vision.I have a feeling the first version of this was probably okay and instead of raising the price of it a bit on newer versions they cheapened the materials and manufacturing to match the cheap price but they kept the same description and manual.

Hurts my nose. Very cheap construction.
Even though Google discontinued their in-house smartphone VR headset, I still wanted to try playing with VR some more on a newer Pixel phone. This product seemed to fit the bill, having both a large enough housing for a Pixel 4XL and also including a bluetooth remote so I don't have to use the "point my head and wait" method to select things, instead I have a simple button in my hand. The lenses are adjustable enough that I was able to get a pretty comfortable view of my phone screen without too much eye strain, but the adjustments feel very cheap and sometimes get stuck.Unfortunately, where this product design FAILS is in comfort. If you plan to wear this for more than a few minutes at a time, I think you might need to invest in some additional padding. The included padding around the face is fairly thin, and the nose area has NO padding at all. It's just hard plastic firmly pushing against the bridge of my nose. Also, the bluetooth controller had no instructions included for it at all, so I had to use trial and error to figure out what all the buttons do.Overall, I was a little disappointed by this product, but I can't really complain for something that cost <$40. It is still quite functional after all, even if it isn't the most comfortable headset to wear.

A must to turn old S8's into VR without Facebook
This remote actually works if you have an old Samsung S8 you want to turn into a VR headset, but you don't want to use Facebook. You'll need a remote if you don't want to keep taking the headset off to tap the screen. The only glitch we've run into is you sometimes have to remove a battery to reset it if you haven't used it in a few days, but it's a slider cover, not a screw, so not a big deal. You can even just use the remote as a phone mouse if you want. (Not sure why you would, but it's there, ha.)A little craft foam makes the nosepiece easier to wear on the headset.

Huge hassle to use with iPhone 11 Pro
I was hoping this would be a nice portable alternative to my PSVR for watching movies/games and letting my daughter play with - but it’s not. I’m guessing this thing works much better on Android than it does with iPhone, bc it’s essentially useless with an iPhone - zero navigation control. The remote won’t do anything on nearly every app I tried, and only adjusts volume when it does work. My iPhone 11 Pro didn’t fit securely in the clamp, and has issues with falling out. I kept having to slide the phone tray out and navigating to the video I wanted to watch, then sliding it back in, which caused the phone to either slip out of the clamp completely or shift left/right and need adjustment. The included instructions have a setup QR code and recommends using Google Cardboard. The cardboard app won’t even work bc it requires a VR headset with a button! I even downloaded an app to create a custom QR code without a button and it didn’t really help much at all. The 3D effect is mediocre, and nowhere near as good as the PSVR, but I didn’t really expect it to be. It is also surprisingly quite heavy with an iPhone 11 Pro and was uncomfortable on my nose. Chromatic aberration/purple fringing is also pretty terrible, but I could look over that in a product this cheap. Build is just ok... doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall apart, but probably wouldn’t survive many drops without some significant damage (important for anyone with kids).TL;DR - Overall it’s just too much hassle trying to get it to work with the lack of navigation, useless remote (iPhone), phone slipping out of the clamp, uncomfortable nose position, etc. Just doesn’t really work with an iPhone 11 Pro.

Stay at Home Order VR Remedy
So I am in my 50s and brand new to Virtual Reality goggles. Because of the world pandemic I decided why not try this technology so I can travel anywhere. I'm somewhat prone to motion sickness so I wasn't sure what to expect but I'm really quite pleased. The quality is really good! So cool to visit various cities around the world, fly over mountains, be at a concert in Paris listening to Mozart, and enjoying many cosmic and meditative journeys. Even downloaded a haunted house app and was thrilled how I could easily gloat through it. Very realistic! VR is going to help me keep my sanity during these challenging times. I did have an issue with the bar code my phone could not detect it so it's just using cardboard box interface which works fine. My only complaint is I wish I didn't have to keep taking the phone out to advance to the next VR movie. I don't see a way to do that with the controller and i end up back at my home screen. Otherwise really happy with my purchase.

VR Head set
It's a great item for the price. I bought it for my 6 year old and ended up playing on it myself. It takes android and iPhone, it has the availability to adjust the lenses to accommodate to various eye widths, and it's head band fits many different head sizes. It was a good buy for a beginner VR headset.
