These worked perfect for the project I had planned. They turned out to be very cute ornaments with a bison silhouette and Buffalo plaid ribbon. However, I failed to seal the wood first so some did split as they dried out. It was my error for sure. They were packaged nicely too.

I got these for an ornament decorating party with my nieces, nephew, Mom, Sister, and Sister in law. It was a lot of fun. I do have some tips though. You should prime these first. Especially when working with younger kids. You can use a spray primer or simply paint or sponge white or whatever paint colour you want. I used acrylic paint for these. This is my second purchase of these wood slices. They are great for making ornaments.

I bought these to make Ornaments to sale for my Crafting Business. They turned out great. All the holes were predrilled, None of them had cracks. As you see they were the perfect size. I will def. Be buying more.
