The value was good. I will see how they make me feel. I think they may have helped somewhat with a goose bump rash I have on my left arm. The pill capsules are very much harder than almost all other fish oil pills I have tried. They also taste a bit bitter, not sure what the capsule is made of tastes plastic like and very hard.

I don't normally do reviews unless it's a really fabulous product, but maybe this review will help someone else.....My teenage son was recently diagnosed with Crohn's disease and I've been looking for ways to help him gain his nutritional deficit back. Over the course of several month's worth of Crohn's symptoms, prior to diagnosis, he developed eczema and skin issues like acne, etc (he's 15, so the acne is to be expected). He has been loosing nutrients for months. I did quite a bit of looking for which type of Omega 3 would work best for him--and that I could get him to take. Happy to report that he's been taking this for about a month, 2 capsules daily (morning and night), and it's doing wonders for his skin. No more eczema, acne seriously decreased, skin is no longer dry and itchy. When we first opened the bottle I was highly skeptical of being able to swallow the huge pills (they are big--really big). They actually kind of torpedo down the throat without any difficulty. Absolutely no burping fish also--that's an absolute positive.

I never had such great and helpful follow up on a purchased product. Nordic knows it's stuff when it come to marketing. After I received my order I received an email giving me more information about the product. The many, many things it is capable of doing if you use it properly. I have told many of my friends about it. Nordic really wants to know how you feel about their product. Great company! I started using it several weeks ago. I find I am having less pain all over, and am able to play 18 holes of golf everyday and I wake up feeling good. This is saying a lot because I am 68 years old. Who knows, maybe after a few months I can be completely pain free. The best thing about this Omega-3 supplement is how important it is to your body"s overall health. In our world we have many negative things attacking our bodies. It feels good to know I am giving mine something of value to work with.

Pleased with the purchase to date. No burps and easy digestion. I bought these to help combat dry eyes since I'm not willing to just maintain my eyes with drops forever. Have been using the Nordic capsules for about a week and - this is not scientific, but anecdotal- my eyes seem to be better. Plus, I am happy about the many other benefits of these as well. I am also happy that the fish oil used apparently does not come from Pacific fish, but from South America. I have some concern about radioactivity in the Pacific so I'm happier using these. One other thing to add is that a portion of this oil comes from sardines. Sardines are among the safest fish to eat right now because they are too small to absorb toxins now commonly found in other types of fish. Excellent product so far.

I was really glad to see that Amazon is carrying this brand again. This is the second bottle that I have purchased. I recently had my cholesterol checked and my good HDL was 100. I have used fish oil supplements for many years. I have always had higher than normal HDL but never had the good HDL level this high. And it certainly isn't due to exercise or my diet. We do cook with olive oil almost exclusively but we always have. I can't explain the change but I suspect the fish oil. Another thing is that this brand has a higher ratio of DHA which I think is recommended for a person who is pre diabetic.

Buying fish oil pills, you will notice that most of the 2000mg pills will only yield a very small amount of actual, usable Omega-3 fatty acids. This means you need to take a handful of pills in order to get a dose that will actually have an effect. With this product, you get a viable dose in two pills. I take four because I like to be on the higher end, and this still provides a month's supply at a very reasonable price.The coating was necessary for my wife, who wouldn't take other fish oil pills due to fishy burps. She didn't have an issue with this product.

I've only been taking it for like a week now. The capsules are big so I kinda gag a little (very unprofessional I know lol.) But I love the value. I think it's like a 2 month supply. There also isn't an after taste, I burp up any nastiness lo. All in all, if it performs the way it's supposed to (again I've only taken it for a week so far.) then it will be way worth the money. Also I love that they email you after you order it to give you some product info about it. <3

An item such as this requires more than just a few days to evaluate but I can say at this point that while I have not felt an immediate improvement in my health, neither have I felt any ill effects from taking it. I did not purchase it with the expectations of immediately feeling and looking thirty years younger but with the intent of a permanent addition to my diet. Experiencing no ill effects encourages me that I will be able to continue using it.
