Solid rope gloves
Handled rope well, no visible wear after a week of rappelling. Kept hands warm in water but took a while to dry. A little stiff/bulky, lowers dexterity a bit (makes things like knot tying and clipping carabiners more difficult), but this might be better if you have larger hands. Towel fabric on thumb area is nice.

Good gloves, fit nicely, and durable
Bought these gloves to do controlled descents down cell towers on kernmantle ropes. They felt a little odd the first 300 feet or so of rope use, but once they got broke in and the gloves got a slight groove in them from where the rope runs, they felt and worked perfectly. Great gloves and I will definitely buy them again

Working K9 Gloves
Great overall gloves. The leather reinforcement is in the right places for rope usage without sacrificing hand function. The size runs large. I normally wear size medium, and had to return them for small. The terry cloth fabric comes in handy and is conveniently placed. A word of caution when using a flat line the edge can get into the finger joints where there is no reinforcement and cut. The quality and look of the gloves exceeded expectations.

Great for rope (and water rope) rescues.
I cannot ever find a small enough pair of gloves. This "small" was not perfect (wish there was an extra small option available). These fit as well as possible. I have really short fingers and it is difficult especially in rescue gear. These work great for Rope Operations and Swiftwater Rescue!I spent the money to find something closer to fitting and these were well worth my money.Purchased these before Swiftwater training. They help up great! Velcro held up in the water (even on the rivers strong current). These gloves are solid!I broke my finger during class and these gloves are still in amazing condition considering the rough treatment I gave them. They air dry nicely and wash well!So worth the money. Just wish they would offer an extra small!

A pretty good purchase, I believe.
I liked them. True to my normal glove size. I’m a first responder and wear medium gloves for all my other gloves (structural, work, medical, etc.). I bought them for a rope rescue technician course, did an 8 story repel and noticed minimal heat. I was in them basically 80 hrs in the Florida “fall” and they were comfortable all day. Doing knots and configuring hardware were not impeded by wearing these gloves. All in all a good purchase I believe. Happy to have run into them.

Finally gloves that can take a beating
These rope gloves are on point! The leather is in the right spots for hauling and lowering loads without feeling a burn from the rope. Can tie knots no problem with the gloves on, and they are holding up great after building systems and rigging for a few hours a day for several weeks. Only downside is that there is no loop on the end of the gloves to hook a carabiner to. Definitely better made than other brands I have bought and trashed.
