Jell-O Instant Butterscotch Pudding & Pie Filling (3.4 oz Boxes, Pack of 6)

This instant pudding mix is the perfect base for a semi-homemade banana pudding! I mixed up 2 boxes of Jello Banana instant pudding mix using 2% milk and adding about 1/8 cup of vanilla extract. I let it sit in the fridge for an hour or so to set up. I then layered Amazon’s Happy Belly mini Vanilla wafers on the bottom of a casserole dish, I then added a layer of the Jello banana pudding, and then added a layer of ripe banana slices. I repeated this 3 times and ended up with a Banana desert casserole. I let it sit overnight, covered of course, so that the flavors melded and the wafers softened up a little, and Oh My Gosh! Absolutely DELICIOUS! I am now obsessed with this desert! You have got to try it!

After disappointing experience with the cheesecake flavor, this Jello banana pudding was a pleasant surprise! Good banana taste,top with or add your favorite chocolate pieces/shavings,even top with real bananas. Taste perception is very individual but this is worth a try! Tip: COLD! I have not been able to find the JELLO Vanilla pudding small 3 oz. "cook type" box in any grocery. I have made a special pie using the 3% box for years and so sad not to find the Vanilla in the smaller box......thank you for filling my culinary need and my families delight.
