Not as good as Gustafs or Maynards
I would rate these as acceptable but we preferred Maynards over Gustafs and Gustafs over these. These are gluten free. I wonder if gluten makes the difference.

These candies are the best!
This is my second order of these delicious candies. They are pure and just sweet enough and have no artificial anything in them. I love their texture as well - not like gummy bears that are hard for me to chew - more like gum drops with a bit of extra chewing time. I have to hide these, both from my son and myself. LOL

Alright, but you can buy better.
The texture of these wine gums is okay, chewy like good wine gums ought to be. Unfortunately, the flavor of these wine gums really fall short. While the box claims "natural and artificial flavors," all I could taste was the artificial flavorings, and weak ones at that! At one point all the flavors seem to taste the same - just sweet but bland. While these are cheap, you do get just what you pay for. I'd say go for the Gustaf's wine gums instead, or just go ahead and splurge on Maynard's or Bassett's.

Not as good as Maynards
I enjoyed these wine gums, but I prefer the Maynards brand. The Norfolk Manor wine gums taste more like fruit-snacks both in their consistency (more soft and less chewy than Maynards) and in terms of their taste (flavor is more fruity and less winey, compared to Maynards).I will stick with Maynards.

not English wine gums
I just had a few hours at London Heathrow and bought wine gums which had the same packaging, or so I thought. They were delicious!!! Rich in flavor, to die for! So when I saw these on Amazon, I figured they were the same. WRONG! They all taste the same, just sweet with no flavor at all. The colors look dull, match the (poor) taste. I won't eat them. They are not worth the calories.Bummer!!!!

Amazingly Delicious!
My husband grew up in England, and felt nostalgic when opening the box, and tasting the deliciocity! No alcohol involved, just strong sweet fruit flavor.

The 2 buck chuck of wine gums
Norfolk Wine Gums are NOT as good as the other brands.Simply put - I grew up on Wine Gums and these are low quality. Hell, you can't even read the names... They're made shoddily. Part of the fun of wine gums as a kid is to be like "oooh, I guess PORT tastes like black currant!" or "Chablis?, what the hell is Chablis?"ON this one it's like CLARR$KJ#huh?
