I have purchased these several times now. Are much brighter than the bulbs that came in our new home. Will continue to buy and totally recommend.

I had changed the three bulbs in my living room in the Hunter fan/light fixture several times in the 20 years living in this house using the latest energy saving /new design. Ideally the light output should be as high as the light fixture can safely handle. I was never able to get an 100 watt bulb that was not hazardous or producing heat. I used 60 watt LED bulbs for a while but the light was not bright enough from the three bulbs in my cathedral type ceiling. I thought a 150 watt bulb would light up my Living Room and found these 150 Watt Daylight White bulbs at a respectable price on Amazon. I have to say these are exactly what I was looking for. All the reviews were for a different wattage and varied in rating but did not apply to the actual item. So far, these are superb in brightness and whiteness and I am very happy in this purchase. I have no idea how long they will last and hope they last as long as I do.Update August 10 , 2020-- One of the lamps failed on 7 August 2020 and the vendor refunded me $4.75 (the cost of one of the lamps). They responded quickly to my email even on the weekend and by Monday the refund was credited to my Amazon account. Excellent customer service.

The bulbs are very bright and excellent value for the money, but the longevity is not as advertised. The box advertises 22.8 years of use at 3 hours per day, which equates to about 25,000 hours. I used a former batch closer to 12 hours per day and they stopped working after about a year. I did use them in an outdoor capacity so perhaps temperature changes and sunlight affected the inner workings and thus the longevity. Then again a 4 pack lasted me just over 4 years too, so the value for the money is still excellent.

I used them for walk in closet ceiling lights. I wanted the light to be bright enough, so I can identify my dark clothes when I open drawers at night. These bulbs are giving adequate amount of brightness. Also they aren’t too bright either which I like.

Home lighting

I've bought these twice now. About a year apart. They are long lasting and do not develop the high/low step down that some of the bulbs experience. Maybe it's because they are not dimmable or maybe they are just better made. And 1600 lumens is a very bright bulb. It would be nice if they were 6000k instead of 5000k, but you can't go wrong with these bulbs.

Gave just the right amount of extra light I needed on my outside porch lights. Saving so much money by using these low watt bulbs. If u haven't done it already, I recommend changing out every single light in your home to LEDs. It will save you a fortune on your light bill.

This bulb is in no way even as bright as a 100w bulb let alone as bright as a 150w bulb. I need a light brighter than a 100w equivalent and side by side with a 100w equivalent it's not even as bright. Very disappointing. I am returning them.
