Better, friendlier and less costly than Braun
No need to send the cleaning solution cartridges for the Braun shaver to the landfill every month. Simply wash out the cartridge and fill with the refill solution and you're ready to go for another month.I much prefer this solution to Braun's. I make it up with isopropyl alcohol 99.5%, but 70% should work great. Unlike the solution from Braun this does not leave an unpleasant odor in the air or bad taste on the skin. Living in a dry climate where the fluid level drops and sets off the replace icon, I simply add some more alcohol to restore the working level. And, of course, this is much less expensive than buying 12 cartridges a year, and the manufacturing and shipping impacts come are very little. The isopropyl alcohol bottles are clearly recyclable, where I am unsure about the cartridges.

Practical, excellent companion to the Broan.
Like:+ lemon oil scent grows on you, I really enjoy it (it may remind me of the smell of wet-naps, not 100% certain)+ Excellent value+ Simple instructions, easy preparationMeh:- get some scent variety! Smoky/humidor! Coconut! Spicy!- not a fan of the product packaging; would be nice to evolve the current mayonnaise packet packaging into something that has a cut-able/tear-able spout for easier preparation.TL;DRManufacturer: I'll be back for more, don't you worry about that. In the meantime, consider my suggestions and I hope you become fabulously wealthy.

Amazing
Add one of these little packets of sweet-smelling oil to a bottle of isopropyl alcohol, shake before filling, and pour into a used cartridge for the Braun clean and charge station. I pour out the remaining dirty fluid from the cartridge (when the clean and charge station lights indicate that it's time to change it). Then I rinse the cartridge out with warm water, and then carefully shake out as many drops of the water as I can. You have to tip the cartridge up and then down. It takes patience but not a lot of time. The key is to take a magic marker and mark the fluid level on a Braun cartridge before you use it. Then when that's done, you will know how far to fill it up with this solution. The shipping on these takes about a week, and we live near an Amazon warehouse so we're used to same-day delivery or at least two-day delivery. Just be careful opening your shipping envelope, because I cut it open with scissors and cut into one of the packets. Honestly I use the cheap 70% alcohol, and put a packet in 32 oz of alcohol instead of 16 oz. It works perfectly. My husband goes through a cartridge in about two weeks. The used Braun cartridge holds up well to being used over and over. These work just as well to clean and lubricate the razor as the Braun fluid, but cost SO MUCH less - they're 80% cheaper. Highly recommend.

Works as expected.
Works great, easy to use. Only issue with the lime scent is that since it's essential oils I get a very bitter flavor left behind that I can taste when I drink or eat sometimes. I'll try a different scent next time.

Works great and up to 50% cheaper than full price!
I love this product! I get 2 bottles of 32oz Alcohol for $4 at Sams Club, which, combined with 4 packets of this product, makes 6 refills for a total of $13.50, or $2.25 each. Compare that to the Official cartridges which, purchased on Amazon with Subscribe and Save at 15% off) cost $3.68, or $4.50 at regular price. So buying this product with cheap rubbing alcohol is literally half the cost of buying regular price refills off Amazon.A couple of caveats: The packets are a bit difficult to open, and you have to be careful not to spill everywhere- a scissors and funnel are helpful here. Also, you'll need to pour out an ounce of so of alcohol for each packet you plan on mixing in. Also, rather than risk wearing out a cartridge (which seems to have a filter) by refilling infinitely, I tend to use a cartridge, refill it once with this product, then throw out the cartridge and get a new one. I've never had an issues with either the cleaner or the razor using this method. If anyone has advice on how long the cartridges last when refilled continually, please let us know! And of course, please be sure to label the bottle of solution since I presume you're using the bottle of alcohol for mixing. One additional plus: for traveling, you can simply pack the razor and a bottle of the prepared solution, rather than pack the entire cleaning station, cartridge and cartridge lid every time you travel. I use the razor, rinse it with hot water, then rinse with an ounce or so of the solution to keep everything lubricated. If you're an infrequent traveler and strapped for space you could carry a small (2-3 oz) bottle of the solution, which would save you a ton of space over packing the cleaning station. So yes, I highly recommend this product!

It really works!!
I’ve tried other products and none works like this one. I like to watch local channel of CBS and this one works.

OK but hard to clean cartridge
Like most folks, I like to save money. Buying this item instead of the Braun refills was a good opportunity to save several dollars. I'm not sure it is worth the trouble. First, I could not find 8-ounce containers of alcohol so I had to buy 16-ounce. No problem, just mix a double batch. Second, it is difficult to mix the solution with the alcohol. The solution comes in small squeeze-tube containers similar the ones that mustard and ketchup come in. You have to be very careful putting the solution into the small opening of the alcohol containers without spilling some. Third, it was very difficult to clean the original Braun cartridge. Because there is oil in the cleaning solution, beard clippings stick to the sides of the cartidge. Several rinsings were necessary and all the clippings never came out. I probably won't buy again.

Works well.
The stuff acts like the 'real' solution, and costs a lot less. You need to mix it with 16oz of alcohol, and around here, the 32oz size is cheaper and more common. I shoulda bought two packets.I was a little worried about the clean out, but it went well and there wasn't much junk left in the reservoir. Of course, I clean the head well before using the station just to keep the hair debris down.
