Importantly, I think every buyer should know that new AC should be placed for 24 hours before first time operating. It only took one business day and I received my AC, fast and good service. I briefly listed the goods and cons for this product as followings:Goods:+ Easy to install and set up, the window kit is perfectly fit my room.+ My room only has 170 sp.ft and it cools my room very fast.+ Not as nosy as I thought, the fan is quiet after few minutes, much better that the fan in motel room.+ The page included new battery.+ Small and easily transport.What can be improved:- It would be very cool if keep using all the night, the appropriate time should be set by using timer function.- The direction of fan needs manually control.PS: Make sure the floor of the house is flat before turn on, or it may cause vibration.

I ordered this model a year ago for my bedroom and I like it enough that I ordered a second one this year when an older portable AC unit I had in another room broke. Pros: I really like the smaller footprint - this unit takes up half the space of my old one and it’s lighter and easier to maneuver. The main pro of course is it works to cool off the room and provide some relief from the heat. The air isn’t the frigid, arctic blast I got with my older unit, I don’t know how to describe it but it’s more subtle, but it gets the job done and that’s what matters. Cons: I wish they’d re-engineer the window attachment piece a little - the vent tube end piece doesn’t lock in the hole for the window slider fitting as well as I’d like, so setting it up is a bit of a hassle and I’ve had it pop back out a few times which is annoying. The drain hole at the bottom is really low which makes sense as far as gravity, but will make draining it slightly more difficult for someone less flexible like myself. That said, I’ve never had to drain it - and I live in the Pacific Northwest so we definitely have moisture in the air. I don’t know how that works, but I like it! All of these portable ACs are loud, and this one’s no exception, but it’s less loud than others I’ve heard, and the noise is well worth it for the cool air. I think of it at night as a sort of white noise machine. I like a fan running at night as I’m a light sleeper and i like that it stays on and doesn’t automatically turn itself off without permission. I don’t know if I’m imagining it but it does seem to calm itself down and reduce the volume once desired air temp has been reached. Overall, I’d recommend.

1st off good luck with order time dont be in rush if u want this took a week from the promised dat of arrival.So this thing works great i use it in my windowless garage in fl .very gentle tone when u give it commands and come with remote, sealing options for the exhaust tube.

I am so glad that I had this purchase before the heat wave. This AC is perfect for my room. Took me only two minutes to put everything together and it cooled up my entire room. The best thing I love about this AC is the timer: I do not have to worry about the electricity bill, which might look crazy if I leave the AC on all night.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to assemble except for terrible insulation strips and wasn't very quite but the one unforgivable problem with this unit was that it didn't cool the room but rather it heated the room up.House was 71 degress, overnight temp was in 50s and the 8' x 10' room was 73 degrees. We ran this unit constantly for 5 days at the lowest setting (62 degrees) and at best it was 2 degrees cooler then the rest of the house but it was usually 3 to 8 degrees warmer than the rest of the house.Also the description does not mention it but the box came with Amazon renewed stickers on it because it was refurbished... but since the thing didn't even work who cares if it was new or not.

I bought this to keep a small bedroom cool in an apartment with a janky in-wall air conditioner in a completely other room and a 1300 watt PC burning up the space I was in. This portable Air Con cooled things down quickly at the cost of it being rather loud and the exhaust tube gets rather toasty. Other than that It worked perfectly fine. I've had it for two seasons now I believe? It's been a long time either way and it's still in perfect working order. Glad I bought it.

Works like a high powered fan. Not cooling the room effectively or efficiently.
