Objective Review of the Infinnet Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4 1.4a Cable
I bought this Infinnet Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort 1.4 1.4a Cable in anticipation for a new PHILIPS 329P1H 32-inch LCD monitor which accepts 1.4 DP cables connected to my Lenovo P620 workstation. The cable is also fully compatible with my 8 year old 32-inch Lenovo ThinkVision P32U LCD display (with the prior DisplayPort 1.2) connected to my Lenovo P620's nVidia RTX A2000GB GPU with MiniDP 1.4A audio and video ports.

I use this to run with my Alienware X17 R2, + my ASUS VG27AQL1A. Let's me use max specs of monitor.
I use this to run with my Alienware X17 R2(RTX 3080-TI), + plus my ASUS Model VG27AQL1A. Gives me an amazing picture even with running an overclocked Refresh rate of 165hz. Even runs well at a max of 170mhz. Using 3DMark I was able to get over 280FPS on Battlefield 4. So it is a quality cable, went from a great display to Excellent Display with this cable. I eliminated the HDMI and for sure recommend Display over HDMI, unless you have the newest Thunderbolt and the monitor offers Thunderbolt. Then use that cable. I rarely buy P.C parts or designer watches, or anything that costs big money from AMAZON has more then 50% of the stuff sold on AMAZON are knockoffs, Black Market goods. The last toothbrush I bought cost me $167 and was a knockoff then AMAZON seller who was PRIME refused a Return. So Can't trust Amazon very often. The cable passes this test.

Expensive, and expensive because it's the best
This is the best 10ft (~3m) DisplayPort cable I know. Among the 9 I've tested. So first of all, I have a stupid setup. I have two laptops, each connected to a dock, and then both docks and two desktops connects to one DP KVM. Then the KVM connects to my monitor via this 10ft DP cable. Before I come up with the setup, I didn't realize this asks for a high quality 10ft DP cable. So here I start my journey, because following issues occurred:1) Slow initialization. On some cables, the two laptops could take tens of seconds to wake up the monitor when monitor is power saving.2) Unable to reach high FPS. My monitor supports 2K 144Hz, and on some cables my desktop upon switching back and forth will fall back to 85Hz.3) Unstable image and / or compression. On some cables, I could see rare occurrence of dropped frame, or sometimes color banding.None of above is prohibiting, but annoyance. Recently, thanks to free return offered by Amazon.com, I am finally able to try out a bunch of cables and see if one can fix all of these issues. And Infinnet is the winner. This cable is the only one that totally eliminates all of above issue. It is also one of the more expensive one (BTW the most expensive piece is rubbish in my test), but after all I consider it totally worth it.Highly recommended.

Works as intended. WOULD RECOMMEND
Tried two cables before this that never worked. Then paid a little extra for this one and worked with no issues. I use this on a 49” Samsung Odyssey G93SC OLED at 120hz 1440p with a 1080ti GPU.

Works as advertized
This DP1.4 cable does provide 4K resolution at 144hz for a PC.Worked without issue after plugging in and changing a few Win11 settings. For reference, my graphics card is a 4090 and monitor is an Innocn 32M2V.Based on reviews of similar cables of varying brands, it seems some will not provide 144hz or do so sporadically. Happy to state that this particular cable appears to be one that works as advertised! Happy customer.

Worked as Promised
supports 8k 60hz, 4k.....2k....all of it. I personally use it for fast paced gaming so I use it on 1080p 240hz. As a laptop user, I don't have a full size displayport connector on it, only a mini DP one. I was so glad that I found infinnet that had one mini DP to DP, VESA certified, and supported 1.4 on amazon. If I need another cable for hdmi, DP, or anything for displays, I'm going with infinnet.
