Best option for the average homeowner with no professional installation skills
A quick warning before you install this: the LED light is VERY bright. It comes pre-charged already and when I accidentally passed over the motion sensor, I nearly blinded myself so be careful. So as a standard non-handyman homeowner, this was the perfect product. It comes with exactly everything you need: screws, solar panel and light with motion sensor. The install was simple. Ideally, you will want to have a power drill to screw in the flood light to make the install quicker. The hardest part was figuring out where to place the solar panel to collect sunlight.Luckily, the flood light has a fairly long length of cable so you can place it pretty much anywhere. The floodlight also has certain range functions: low, medium, and high so you can reduce the amount of false alarms in case of a passing car or something. So my primary use is for the backyard. It has been very convenient for family gatherings and also mowing the lawn later in the day where I normally could not. Again, if you aren't a natural handyman and know how to run wires, this is perfect you. Simple, easy install and it uses solar power. Hopefully they come out with a another version with a camera so I can see what's going on in my yard as well.

Its Bright
Liked the ease of set up, solar panel was a little tricky as to which way was is up. (as to angling towards the sun) I think I mounted it upside down to angle and mount. But when I tested the light, it was bright and area coverage was good. The test mode really helps, for angling the PIR for triggering distance. All in All I like it.

So far so good
Just got installed. Instructions say to charge for 3 days.. I did that and am just setting the thing up. Then Amazon wants a review already. Seems to be moderately bright. Not too bright as the light seems to be warm and not too harsh. The motion sensor works as I have set it up. Just built a new porch and have set it to come on just as someone is about to begin climbing the steps. It works just like that. The street is only 30 to 35 feet away and cars drive by all the time so I think the extended setting would have the light on and off all night. We will see what my neighbors say about the brightness. It's a mobile home park and close proximity. No HOA but we must get along with one another too. I really like having a light that I don't have to pay the local electric company to keep on. I would like to do the entire house solar but the $ involved make it hardly worth it. Would take the rest of my life(or more) to break even as I am already near 70 y.o. Anyway, I am pleased so far. It's pays to do your due diligence and research before making the purchase for sure. I have also made purchases at *bay and other places that turned into nightmares. Read your reviews, ask questions and compare is the way to make a purchase without having tears about it later.

Works great for my back yard
This light is attached to my backyard wall to detect any coyote walk through my yard. The motion sensor is sensitive and accurate for this size of the animal. The two pivot design can adjust and give a wide range of exposure area that covered almost 65ft width. The timer function is the most important, 1 min timer saved more energy while maximum warning the coyote to trespass my yard. I highly recommend.

Very bright, but doesn't have light sensor so it's a manual turn on.
Update: I discovered these do not have a light sensor, so you would have to manually turn the light on and off or leave it on motion sensor for it turn off at all. Not convenient when the lights are installed 8ft high and are meant to be security lights, getting on a ladder to turn them on at night is not safe.In transitioning my outdoor lights to solar, I tried a few options out. These are my favorite so far! They have motion detection of about 8 feet away, far enough that if I turned it on at my front porch, the light would turn on the minute someone walks onto the pathway towards the front door. However unlike some other lights, you truly have the option of turning the motion detection off and actually keeping it on at 100% brightness where some lights reduce to 30% brightness when no motion is detected. The wide range of motion allows you to light up the average backyard with a single light, but as my house is long I got one for each corner. Will be getting more of these for the rest of the corners and the front door!

Don’t buy it
Don’t waste your time or money on this. You have to put holes in your house and tbt motion sensor did not work at all. Total waste of money.

great product....
We bought this because our backyard has no lighting so at night it's pitch black. Because of this I can't see our smaller dogs when they go out in the yard after dark. The brightness of the light is awesome, and let me tell you that's hard to say. When you take into account that our neighbors across the street from us is the Fire Station and they have 4 bright blinding lights that shine from dusk to dawn. This light is able to keep up and not see wimp or weak. But also no scream blind me either.
