Our cats love this little fountain and drink plenty of water as evidenced in their litter box. We humans enjoy this little fountain for the charm this beautiful blue ceramic sculpture adds to our living space with just the right amount of whimsy.Some might give fewer stars for ease of cleaning, but come on — it’s a fountain used by kitties with food on their faces and needs regular cleaning which requires taking it apart and putting it back together. This may be more fuss than some folks want to take for a cat’s water dish. I gave four stars because disassembly and reassembly is very straightforward and I’m happy to do it for the value to kitties and decor. (Be sure to disassemble all the little parts onto a plate or bowl, and not over the sink where parts could get lost down the drain.)The three stars for sturdiness — it’s ceramic. As ceramic goes, it’s not particularly delicate, but gentle handling is to be expected.Five stars for durability, even though I haven’t had it that long. Those little pumps are standard for small fountains, have a good track record, and are readily replaceable on Amazon should the need arise.

There is an oil stench that is all over this drinking fountain , I washed it with dish soap and very hot water 3 times including letting it soak for 12 hour's. The Filters and Tube are so rank smelling that it makes the water stink, I soaked these parts along with the bowl and whale. I tried cleaning the pump as well but I couldn't do what was needed to properly clean it. I let it run for 3 days changing the water daily and then I tried the water to see if it was clean enough for my Cats and after spitting it out the sides and tip of my tongue was burning. Also the pump has become very noisy and if it shorts out it will also get hot then it will shock and kill one of my cats. Now i have to spend more money just to make it safe to use. My advice is: Do Not purchase this Animal Fountain from this or any other seller or website.

I really like this cat dish. It looks very chic on my table. Unfortunately my cat would not drink from it. If there was anything I could change about this as I wish it had a thicker coat of gloss.

This fountain is adorable and true to the picture. However, as cats are messy drinkers this clogged and/or stopped running on a weekly basis. I tried several times to vinegar soak the pump to try to help with issues which did help for awhile but in the last month of its life this no longer made any difference and it stopped running all together.If you are looking for a cute cat fountain and are willing to use filtered water along with cleaning it often this one will do the trick otherwise I would not buy again.

This is an attractive item, but never quite functioned as anticipated. The tube connecting the pump through the fountain was ever so slightly too short. The water trickled out at best, and sometimes not at all. The pump, despite having suction cups, would not seal to the base.As said, it is an attractive unit. Hard to clean, and no functional in my experience. Perhaps I just got the one defective unit in the batch and everyone else will not have issues 🤔

I like that it doubles as decor. My cats use it often. It's not as hard to clean as I thought it would be. Process is probably like 5 minutes every couple of weeks. Would recommend getting long wire brushes to clean some of the parts.

Cat became ill after drinking from fountain for 6 days. Seller responded that material was heated to a very high temperature, which would kill bacteria or fungus . The concern is was the material tested for harmful chemicals or toxins that are harmful for consumption , but are not destroyed by high temperatures. Cat is still under a vets care.

This is a beautiful Fountain my cat loves it and the picture looks just like the product.
