I have never owned a monocular before. Always binoculars. And a child a telescope!But, thinking about a device that is more compact than binoculars, with a greater magnification, I started researching monoculars and telescopes.The one that stood out for quality and portability, with the flexibility of zoom magnification, was the BlackbirdIndeed, reviewers on YouTube sang its praises. As did Amazon (my shop of choice)So, I ordered it!Upon arrival it was securely and professionally boxed.I excitedly opened the box. Wow, looked great!The scope, tripod, carry bag, cleaning cloth and instructions were neatly stashed.I took out the scope. It was immediately apparent I had bought a very professionally made item of optical equipment.A manageable size too!The lens caps were held in place to prevent loss. A great idea.The zoom and focus rings very easy to operate. The eyepiece was easy to move in and out too!The tripod was of metal construction and very well made. Sturdy and strong!I set it up and trained it on a distant building. Superb. The clarity of image was first class!I tried it on the moon as well. The detail at maximum magnification was awesome!My intended use is astronomical and bird watching.The instructions were logical and literate.All said and done, the Blackbird is truly excellent!And great value for money!Well doneI

I have just received my BLACKBIRD. It looks and feels great.I am presently following our governments advice to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus and so I am confined to my home.I plan to use my BLACKBIRD to get closer to the wildlife in my garden and the surrounding countryside.It is light but sturdy and feels well constructed and is easy to use. Just the right size to fit on a table in my garden, or on my bedroom window sill.Focusing is very easy to do with the rubberised ring grip on the lens, no fiddly knobs.It is a dull day today yet the images are clear, bright and sharp, cannot wait to try it out on a sunny day!The tripod feels strong and stable even when not fully expanded, ( I have a narrow bedroom window sill that I am trying it out on at the time of writing this review).Your support service is excellent in terms of documented emails and user guides. Delivery was fantastic, I received it in less than 24 hours after the order was placed, even in these extraordinary times.

I got the scope a few hours ago, WOOHOOOOO! Now that’s what I wanted, it’s the businessSize is lovely, substantial but not cumbersome. Very neat. Light as a feather. Feels rock solid but easily maneuvered into very precise positions. Lovely casing and focus is smooth as butter.I will be using it for target shooting and occasional stargazing seeing how good it works!I love how when you twist it on it’s easy to get square on the tripod plate with the underneath screw mechanism. Very simple but very clever I thought. And the arm that moves it and locks it, tremendous.

I have been really happy with the service I have received from this company, the scope was delivered quickly and on time which was important as it was a gift for my dads 70th birthday.I opened the box to ensure it was all there and everything was well packed and in the box as promised. I assembled the scope to make sure it worked and that it all fitted together. I found it easy to use, the quality of the product was good and most importantly I was able to get a really clear focus through the eye piece. My dad enjoys feeding and watching the birds which is why I got him the scope he was really pleased with it and has it set up on his window sill.Overall very happy with the service and the quality of the product for a reasonable price unlike many similar items that are on the market.

Hi all at roxant europe,Just a quick thankyou for supplying such a great spotting scope it has given my family much pleasure over the last few weeks, we can get close up to nature with truly brilliant clarity on lowest magnification to mid magnification, higher magnification needs a tripod for best results. Viewing the moon has been amazing the detail of the moons surface is breathtaking, probably the best value for money item purchased in a long time, very good design features and well made, should get years of trouble free use out of it without loosing the lens caps as there attached to the scope. One very happy customer as I was going to purchase one 3 times the price.

I live on the coast and use the Blackbird for bird and boat watching, it's a great little gadget, nice to look at and very easy to handle and focus ,the rubberised body gives good grip and the attached lens caps are ideal for not getting dropped and lost, the tripod is metal and a better quality than you'd expect for the price, overall very pleased with the product and customer feedback.
