Working but can't say about tripping.I didn't test it by short circuit. Some reviews are telling it doesn't trip. Otherwise ok product. Value for money.

Good purpose as an Isolator/Switch for DC
So far did not see a automatic tripping action and have not test it with a manual short circuit. Using it for a 750 W Solar system (approx. 19A) and works good so far. Bought it for Rs. 590 and now it is little higher.Overall performance is good.

Switch is very hard and packing is very very bad like a some vest material fill in the box . I use polycab mcb before this product.I am not satisfied with this product (chint mcb)Don't peaches this product seeing on price

Meets the requirement.
32a mcb for 3 200 watts(12v) panels. Total amps for panels in parallels is 31amp appx. Using it alongside 600v havells spd and 32 amp fuse.
