Working For A Year Without Problems
I used these to do an entire wall with a framed picture portrait collage. I have sixteen framed pictures, ranging from 8X10-11X14 grouped together. They have been hanging without any problems for over a year. To put them up - I first cleaned the wall with soap and water and waited for it to dry completely. Next, based upon other reviews, instead of using the whole strips, I cut each strip in half down the middle, creating two strips out of each one, which doubled the amount of usable hanging strips. Next I stuck the front and back parts of each hanging strip together (they velcro to each other) and placed one on the right and one on the left of the back of each picture frame. I positioned the hanging strip, per the instructions on top 1/3 of each frame. After the hanging strips were stuck to the frames I lined each frame up on my wall and pressed them into place. I used the palm of my hand to tap on the frame to insure that the hanging strip was adhered to the wall. When I was sure it was adhered, I gently lifted upward on the frame to disconnect the velcro strips which removed the frame, while leaving the back side of the strip still attached to the wall. I then went back and tapped on each strip on the wall again to make sure it was adhered tightly. Again as per the instructions, I waited for one hour to let the hanging strips cure on the wall before rehanging the frames. To rehang the frames I simply aligned the velcro and gently tapped on the frames until I heard the strips connect. As I've said they've been up for a year with no slippage. I haven't tried to remove them or rearrange the frames yet, so I don't know if they'll leave marks on the wall, but if I do I'll update my review.

I hung everything I could with these
I recently moved into a new apartment and in the hopes of keeping my security deposit, purchased these strips. They work better than I expected, each set is advertised to hold 4 lbs and they do the job. Using these I have hung paintings, pictures, a very small mirror, a key ring/rack, and even a coat rack. I did not clean with alcohol or anything like they recommended, and I've had no problems so far. For hanging the coat rack I used 5 sets of these strips to be extra safe and it is surprisingly sturdy, even as it gets tugged and pulled from coats and backpacks every day it doesn't budge. In fact, the grip is so strong I can't separate the velcro to detach the coat rack from the wall, so I'm not sure how I'll pull the adhesive's tabs to remove these at the end of the lease, but we'll light that firecracker when we get to it. Word of warning however to anyone who may find themselves in a similarly odd situation, the building I am in is quite old and has been painted an absurd amount of times, and for one heavier picture frame (a vinyl record display), the adhesive of these strips held strong but the many layers of paint it was stuck to actually peeled off the wall and down went the frame. The command strip never let go of the paint, but it was too much weight for the paint to handle and the paint left the wall. Who would have known that could be a problem. If you're in an old building as well, keep in mind to add more strips to spread out the weight so this doesn't happen to you. Overall, I highly recommend these for anyone doing damage free hanging, these are quite effective.

I Can't Find Enough Good Things to Say About These
I've been using these for a few years, starting from when I was a college freshman living in a dorm to today. Now I have my own place where I'm allowed to put holes in the walls, but I refuse to use anything else. These are SO much easier for hanging up artwork than the traditional nail in the wall method! I have an ever-growing collection of art pieces ranging from a few ounces to a few pounds and part of the reason why these are great is due to their versatility. My smallest pieces only need one strip, cut in half, while on a few pieces I have a pair in every corner. Secondly, it's a breeze to get things level. If you hang something, take a step back, and realize it's a bit off... Just pop it off and readjust! They're like velcro and give a satisfying *click* when snapped together so you're assured that the pieces have successfully reattached. Lastly, if you're like me and have a gallery style art wall that's constantly growing, these work incredibly well because it makes everything so simple to rearrange without leaving big holes in the wall. You just don't have to feel so committed when hanging something up, which is such a relief. It'll also be nice that when I move I don't have any damage to my walls that I need to worry about having repaired. And not that it's a huge factor, but if you're in an earthquake-prone area like I am then these guys will probably save much more of your art collection than nails would! :)

YAY THEY WORKED!
i highly doubted these would work but my sister uses them for the photo frames she has so we tried it, used for canvas on demand 11x16. used 5 just to be safe. the packaging says not to use on paper material (like the back of the canvas on demand photos and they're right it did rip off the paper when you remove them so if that would be a problem don't use them or don't place a strip then remove it) it is very annoying how long it takes to set up the whole placing them on the wall, it doesn't take that long but when you have a kid to watch it is very hard to take 5-15 minutes setting up to hang a photo. then waiting another whole hour to even set the photo onto the strips. at first they did not work when my sister tried doing it but then i followed the directions FULLY and they worked so do not try and take the shortcut it won't work and will make you annoyed.tip: use a marker end to press down on the strips at the second to last step or your fingers will start to hurt due to the sandpaper like feeling.
