Thinkpad T450 Will NOT work
This converter will not work with Lenovo Thinkpad T450. So do not buy for this range of laptops. Otherwise it seems good product. Just sharing this so it would help other customers.

Great adapter
Gets your work done. Plays videos like a charm however sound might not come from some tv. To change this one need to click the finder on your macbook type midi setting in the search bar. Select hdmi on the left bar and change the setting from 22bits to 48bits. Some toshiba tvs give this kind of issue.No lag seen.

Stopped working after a while but product replaced promptly
The adapter stopped working in a month's time. However later upon contacting the company, they promptly sent over a replacement.Good customer experience!

Stopped after 2 months
You'd expect such simple things to malfunction after a couple of months. Nonsense. I am going to buy a more branded one I guess. Not worth the disruption.
