AntennaX The Shorty (5-inch) Antenna for Toyota Corolla

This antenna arrived quickly and was easy to install. It worked well for about 2 weeks, but clarity has deteriorated since then. At 5 weeks past the order date, the static is getting ridiculous. I asked for a replacement but was denied as being past the window. AntennaX sells subpar products and does not even have the decency to stand behind them. It's shameful.

This is my second AntennaX replacement. I got the 7-inch version the first time and it lasted about 2 years. But recently the plastic surrounding the antenna got brittle and started breaking off. Probably because it took a beating from the hot Hawaii sunny weather. Ordered the 16-inch this time which looks more like the OEM that came with the car originally. Signals pick up a little better compared to the 7-inch (dont get me wrong, the 7-inch was good too, but 16-inch maybe a little clearer). Fits nicely, but we'll see how long this new one will last...

I originally reviewed this shorty (5-inch) antenna with 5 stars because I loved it for the first couple of weeks that it was on my car. I am now rating it with one star because not even a month after I put this antenna on my car it started to change color from black to a copper color. I took the antenna off before every car wash, so it was never exposed to a car wash, yet somehow the black coating came off of the antenna completely, revealing a copper colored antenna that looks horrible on my car. I contacted the seller about this and never heard back from them. For this reason, I would not recommend the purchase of this antenna.

Came home one day to find that the the antenna on my 2003 Corolla was just gone. Not sure why someone would actually take it .After searching for quite a while I came across this one. Although the method they use for attaching the threaded insert to the antenna could be much better, (Came off the first time I attached it to the car) so far it seems to be staying intact. The stations come in great, reception is as good or a bit better than oem. Giving it 4 stars because of the way the insert is bonded to the base.

I have a 2005 Toyota corolla and my stock antenna rusted off, this new antenna was easy to install. All I had to do was untwist the rest of the old one and put this one in it's place. I was impressed with how quick and easy it was to install since the Toyota dealership was way more expensive and was going to charge $150 service fee to replace it and that didn't include the part. When I got it installed all my stations came in just as clear as the original one.

My old 2006 Corolla had a beat up, taped up, cracked old stock antenna. I bought the 16" one as above and is was an exact replacement of the OEM but nice and new! Works great. Very happy.

I bought this 16 inch antenna to replace the rusted antenna on my 2003 Toyota Corolla XE. It fits perfectly, was easy to install, looks nice, and was a good value (I think I paid $16.99 for it). I think it provides about the same reception as the original (factory) antenna that was on my car for 16 years.

I bought this antenna to replace the original one for my 2006 Toyota Corolla LE. My nephew installed it for me and it went on very easily. So far the radio reception is just as it was with the original.

Product arrived promptly. It took about a minute to install. It works as well as the original equipment so we are quite pleased.
