Meriville Double Curtain Rod Bracket - Designed for 1" Frond Rod and 5/8" Back Rod Double Drapery Rod, Satin Nickel, Set of 2

This product is nicely colored and shaped, with mounting hardware. However, for this to be a double rod bracket it won't support mid weight curtains. I have thin sheers hung on the backside and drapes on the front. The drapes are velvet and the back side are lined, so the material is somewhat heavier than a normal curtain. The hardware held for a day then it began to slightly bend. By the end if the week my curtains were puddled on the floor.If you are hanging anything other than thin very lightweight curtains this will not work for you. They do bend.

The worst double curtain rod I have ever installed. I I had two rods that I wanted to hang as a double - so ordered just a bracket. I should have looked longer. The part that extends out to hold the rods is so Low it is too close to the screw hole - meaning the top screw into the anchor had to be done by hand - what a pain. compared to what usually comes with quality rods they just don’t have a quality weight or design.

These are the same brackets that come in a Meriville set. I bought a couple extra of these brackets to support a long span (actually didn’t need these as the set came with a center bracket…). So if you need an extra or two or just something to cover a long span thanks to heavy curtains, these are a must-have.

The Meriville rod and bracket set come with gold screws for the brackets both for the wall and to hold the rod in place. I purchased this set to make everything sturdier and the screws are all nickel.

Because the bracket is longer than normal, be aware that they tend to bend a bit with the weight of curtains and rods. This has to be taken into consideration when installing the brackets so that your curtains aren't pooling on the floor when hung.

This did not support the weight of double rods ... I was extremely disappointed... I tried so many ways to make this work ... butterfly anchors drywall screws and plastic anchors Nothing work not even in the stud of the wall

I found my drapes to be heavier than anticipated and wanted an additional (matching) bracket. So happy to find it available with super-quick delivery.

I was hesitant to buy these brackets because i know they usually bend under a lot of weight. These brackets were no exception. But the gold/brass finish is of a nice quality. They are no stronger than any other bracket.

El soporte es de color chocolate y cumple con su función, sin embargo considero que seria mejor que incluyeran un soporte adicional por el peso que conlleva colocar dos cortineros + las 2 cortinas.
