I have waited a few months before reviewing this item in order to know if it stands up to practical use.My original purpose in buying these was to use in the bottom of my stockpot and/or pressure cooker to stand preserving jars on when bottling preserves.They certainly fit this purpose well, and being heavier than water they do sink to the bottom rather than floating, which is what I had hoped.In addition they can successfully be used for protecting the worktop from hot pans, as well as providing a non-slip mat to go under mixing bowls.Durable and easy to clean, they look as good as new after almost a year of use.

Haven’t used yet so can’t comment on heat resistance but they are beautiful. I’m excited to try them and might get some more to use as ‘place mats’ on the table, or at least central place mats for warm dishes at larger dinners.

Really cannot fault this product! Having the kitchen done and buying a new induction hob scared the life out of me. I wanted something pretty, grey and heat resistant. These do the trick. I no longer have to worry about a scratched hob and happily put hot trays on these straight out of the oven. There also great to open stubborn jars. Very happy!!

Good service and they look great. We have a wooden worktop and just keep them out around that so you can see the worktop through them. Really useful and so cheap.

So useful - ideal non-slip place mats. Look good on table. I also use use as trivets to protect the worktops and induction hob.

Purchased these to use outside on our garden table as they weren't too big. I am very pleased with them. They look pretty and are non slip and though only 19cm in diameter still big enough to use with dinner plates. They also arrive well packaged and in good time.

Great mats for hot pans on the dining table or while cooking . They look good . Nice colours . Totally heat resistant . Easy to clean .

This is the second time I have bought these mats. Love them. They do the job well. Very sturdy and keep the hots pans on securely.
