Elise Bloom Women's Round Neckline Loose Vest Style Long Cut Beach Long Casual Dress

I love the dress, wings and all. 63 yrs old.

Simple and elegant, this is a perfect dress to wear after lounging by the pool or beach. The dress has straight side seams and an ample slit up the side (on me—I have a size large, though medium would have probably worked too—and I am 5’5” tall, the slit came to just above my knees). A long pair of crossed ties at the back can hang down as is or can wrap around and tie under the bust. I preferred the tied in the front look. However you wear this, the dress is loose and flowing. The material, a sheer 100% polyester, makes the dress a step up from, say, cotton. The dress is perfect for a warm summer evening. Beware that it is quite sheer, so some sort of under layer is needed. I would also suggest keeping anti-static spray handy because there was some initial static (clingy-ness) when I first put it on. Overall, a very pretty summer evening cover-up.

Very comfortable

This is a beautiful basic black dress. It is soft, lightweight, and has two sheer panels that cross across the front and tie in the back which looks great. It is cut for an average height woman--not for petite or tall women. The fabric is lovely but would cling to moisture so it is best for dry heat as is found in the desert. We live in Florida and, unless you are inside with air conditioning, this dress will cling to the moisture. Overall, darling dress that I would recommend for dry heat climates!

The Elise women's classic dress is a free-flowing dress that is made of 100% polyester. It has a silky feel and long ties that are located on the back of the dress. The long flowing ties may be left to hang or tied in the front or back of the dress. The black dress is very sheer and black tights and a black camisole should be worn to cover undergarments. The dress is very thin and is similar to a cover-up but not intended for that purpose. It is open slits on both sides of the dress that go up to the knee. This is a nice summertime dress because it is breezy and is not a warm dress. It is not restricting and will fit a variety of figures. I am 5'5 an ordered a size small and the dress fits well.

This dress is just as pictured. It’s long and flowy, and has two slits up each side that are about knee-high, and two sheer flowy panels that are attached at the top of the shoulder and extend down the back to the hem (like a scarf that has one end attached at the shoulder. Kind of hard to describe, but I saw that there are some pictures others have taken that you can see. I didn’t take pictures because it was a bit small for me (I got a small and it’s just a bit too tight around the hips). I usually wear a small or medium in dresses because I have a relatively small waist and top, but my hips are a little fuller. This dress was less forgiving than most because the fabric has no stretch and is cut straight. It is also a bit on the sheer side. It isn’t see-through, but if I was going to wear it as a dress (rather than a beach “cover up”), I’d want to wear a slip under. I gave it four stars because it is pretty and could be a fabulous pool/beach cover-up if I had the right size. ~Amy

This is an interesting Elise Bloom dress. I'm 5'5 and the dress falls to my ankles. I like how it is flowy but fits properly at the appropriately places of the body. The dress being machine washable is also a plus.However, I'm not quite sure what to think of the two ties/two long pieces looking design in the back. If I tie it in a bow, it looks funny. If I leave it alone, it does not look too attractive. I guess I just have to get use to it since it is located on the back. The dress is plain and black, therefore, I will be pairing this with a jean jacket or with a long colored necklace.

This is a lovely dress. It's loose and flowy and can be worn in a variety of ways. The "wings" in the back can flow for an elegant look or they can be tied in front. I preferred them to be tied in the front, to one side. Tied in the center gave it a maternity-ish look on me. There are a few things that keep me from liking it more, though. The material is on the rough, cheap side. While it does make it great for quick drying needs(beach, etc), I don't overly care for it. That said, it's not horribly uncomfortable to wear. It could be better, though. It's also super thin and on the sheer side, so something would have to be worn under it anyway, if modesty is desired. For some reason, static has been an issue with this dress, too. There are slits on each side that come to above my knee and I was surprised that it has pockets(which I love). For now, it's something I like enough to keep around, but it's not something I'd wear on a regular basis.
