TM-01US 15A/1800W 7-Day Programmable Timer Outlet Plug-in Wall LCD Digital Electrical Timer Switch with 3-Prong Outlet

Bought two of them just over 3 months ago. It could have been more intuitive to program, but it wasn't impossible to figure out. However, my rating (1 star) is based on the fact that of the two that I purchased, one of them has already stopped working. And after 30 days, there is no way to contact the seller or Amazon to return or exchange. I can accept a product failing after 3 months, but I can not accept that they do not support the product. If you're looking for a timer, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

At first I was overwhelmed with the programming of the timer, however, after adjusting my attitude and the times I had set it really wasn't difficult at all. It's quiet and automatically adjusted for daylight savings time. I like it, but don't really need the 15 or so different time settings for just one light

OK as a basic timer but less so as a 7 day. The programing process is awkward / complicated and the instructions are inadequate. It claims to have a manual override switch which is not true.

It works well. My guess is it will last as long or longer than the mechanical type. If the LCD display starts to fade out, plug it into charge the internal batteries.

Very low cost, does everything you might want, good design. Directions were a bit challenging for me but it is working flawlessly. I replaced a mechanical unit which make continual noise and was hot. This unit is totally quiet, seems to generate little heat and I assume (but have not tested) it is using less electrical power.

Had trouble with it right out of the box. It would not come on at all. Had to hold the reset button actually get it to come on. And the instructions do not tell you to do this. Once I got it all set up it failed to work properly. I turned it to auto and the device I plugged in automatically came on instantly. So the program feature is faulty. I am sending it back. This is the second timer of a similar design but different company that has done the same thing.

Unit works fine, albeit it can be confusing to initially program, but once you get the "hang of it" it's easy. So far so good.

No where in the description does it say not to be used with electric ballast until you read the instructions. Not for use with grow lights.
