Silly Sara: A Phonics Reader (Step-Into-Reading, Step 2)

My daughter's favorite Book. She is now 25. Glad I was able to find it for my Great Niece!

This story may not make any sense, but it's meant for kids ages 4-6. I bought it for my daughter when she was 4 and she loved it. Today, at age 6, she still loves it. This story is silly, funny, and fun. It's also a great reading tool. At 4 1/2 my daughter could read this book. The phonetic words used throughout the story make it easy for kids to grasp the reading concept, and it has the added bonus of capturing their imagination and holding their attention. I highly recommend this book for little ones....though parents make think "what the heck?" LOL

These books are great for my new reader. They are simple but challenging enough to keep her interested.

My 21 month old really likes this book. She has it memorized so helps Mama read it by saying key phrases when I pause! The Phonics set up is unfamiliar to me, so a little strange to read.

Our grandson loved the book since his Mom's name is "Sara".

Good book for beginner readers. My kids like it.

Cute children’s book.

I chose this for reading with young learners. It introduces them to correct past simple pronunciation and consonant production sounds - also the difference between 'jam' and 'ham' - with the usual amusing errors from their mother tongue (M.T.) influence! Attractively presented - also at a reasonable price on offer when I ordered it. Thank you.
