These are actually quite nice! I never had the problem other people mentioned on their reviews. Springs are easy to push, and it goes right into the six gang Legrand keystone I bought. If you pay attention to the direction of where the keystone top should go, I don’t think you’ll have any problems. Regarding the inside messing with the stranded wire: twist the wires before inserting, and when you do, just turn slowly and insert in the same direction you twisted. None of the strands would come out. If you want to fool proof this, just solder the tip of the wires.Overall, I am quite happy with the purchase. I also bought Legrand banana plug keystones, and these will save you one gang for each speaker since both wires are on the same keystone! Thanks for reading and YMMV.

Using them for a 5.1 Surround system with speaker wires in the walls.The speaker wire connections are good. The springs are strong enough to hold the wires securely but not so strong as to be difficult to open when inserting or removing wires. Connections are good and the audio is clear.I did have issues with one of them popping out of a 4 gang wall plate, but I suspect the issue is the plate, not the terminal, so 5 stars.

Compared to alternatives that use spade connectors on the back, having the same push connector on the front and back is a better design as the spade connectors break easily and are very difficult to seat. That said, the push connectors on the back don’t allow for a deep insertion of the incoming wire and have a tendency to pop out.

These work great and only use one slot in keystone wall plate. U would definitely recommend these.

Able to organize my speaker cables by running in the wall/floor instead of having speaker wires laying around.

Like the title says, the only issue with these is that the force needed to push the buttons is so high, the jack will pop out of any plate or box. You have to be able to remove the plate/box to install the speaker wires.
