This is a great knife. It's a solid piece and not too heavy that it glides easily while cutting everything. I have used the knife on both vegetables and meat. It makes quick work of everything. I like the wood grain on the handle. It looks nicer than the basic knife set i use daily. My old 8 inch knife just wasn't getting sharp enough so i decided on trying a new one. I am happy with this product and it has replaced the old one in my knife block.

The knife is really sharp. I got this knife for from Amazon and I never knew how much a knife can change the way I cook. I was so pleasantly surprised how well this knife cut through. The handle is very comfortable and fits comfortably in my hand, the wooden handle is super smooth and works really well. Recommend for all cooks and big 5 stars!

This knife is my new favourite in the kitchen! It’s insanely sharp and the perfect length. The wooden grip is also very smooth and comfortable, even when cutting challenging fruits or vegetables. It slices through even potatoes with ease! Definitely recommend!

The picture of blade showed dark forging grain. But it actually high gloss steel with grain printed on! Also, it claim German made, but there is nowhere in the box or on the knife said "Made in German". It also claims a015 high carbon steel. But I can never find any high carbon steel nomenclature as a015 (sourced from wikipedia). I highly suspect it's just some cheaply made knife worth at the most $10. BTW, more than half of those five star review are from non verified purchase.
